Proximity to Luton Airport
In house catering very limited
Room was surprisingly clean and new-looking. We checked in late and had to be at the airport early. Staff arranged for airport taxi. Free light breakfast in the lobby, when we came down at 0500. Room was quiet, a good feature for us light sleepers. Lift in lobby required our room card for entry, nice for security.
We were assigned the wrong room type than what we ordered online. When the error was pointed out, however, it was promptly corrected with an apology. Strange bathtub drain plug, which required a really strong pull to remove. Carpet in room seemed to be the only thing not replaced during recent renovation.. Digital thermostat showed room temperature setting which we lowered, but the air from the vent continued to blow the same room temperature air. Not a big deal since we could have opened the window slightly for cooler air.
Clean and comfortable. Booked it for sonisphere festival and proximity to airport and luton town.staff friendly and helpful would definitely stay again
the only thing i liked in the hotel is the proximity to the airport
i reserved a twin room, when i got to the hotel they told me they don`t have any twin rooms avalible because all the rooms were ruined by a group of teenagers the night before (i don`t know if it`s the truth it sounds like an excuse to me). to make things wors they gave me a handicapped room wich was extreamly uncofertable (everything was knee high). the breakefast was poor. to sum up, after staying in the same chain of hotels in london twise before it was a huge dissapointment!
The hotel is very conveniently located to the airport and Luton town centre. The town is only 5 min walk with lots nice restaurants and pubs and shops. Airport is about 8 mins in taxi.
The Days Hotel is really close to the airport About 10 minute drive with Taxi that cost 5 pound. Luton town is in walking distance of 5 minutes. The hotel is really clean, convenient and staff are lovely. I would definetly stay there again and would recommend it to all.
easy access to the airport, big parking close to the hotel, good Indian restaurant 5 min. from hotel; continental brekfast available from 4.00 a.m.
Location and car parking
Having to pay for wifi/Internet in the room
The restuarant was not up to standard for this type of hotel, the food left a lot to be desired.
Nice staff (Natasha) on reception. The bed was comfortable.
Room was good size
Staff unattentive - hotel basic and breakfast was very poor
Nice Room, Easy Check in, Friendly Staff and Ideal to commute into London
had no heating at all and phone was never ansered by staff wen tryin mention it also wen toldstaff at desk was simply told ye we have had some problems and not even so much as an apology
Good location for the airport. Car parking and taxi transfers much appreciated. Good value for money.
Coffe machine in restaurant not very efficient
The hote's centrality to the City Centre
There no notes of how to regulate the air conditioner so it stayed cold all night at 18c. I found that the traffic noise irritating.
